My Why

I love babies! Always have always will.

Growing up, all I ever wanted to be was a mom. Above any career goals, mom was steadfast at the top of the list.  After struggling for years with infertility, 4 failed pregnancies ending with 7 babies born in Heaven, I was left to accept the reality that I would not be a mom to my own babies. I am so grateful that while my loss was absolutely heartbreaking and devastating, I never became bitter or jealous. God's grace was, and still is, sufficient for me. He is a good God and His purpose for my life and my tender, baby-loving heart is greater than I could have ever planned. He blessed me with 2 incredible stepchildren and an abundant, joyful love for HIS children.

God continually fills me with this precious gift of a deep love for His children. I love them as though they are my own. I always say "you don't have to make them, to love them" and boy, do I. I love all ages, but especially the babies. All the babies! They are truly a gift from God - created on purpose for a purpose. Because of my loss, I have a profound appreciation of what a miracle each sweet little baby is and I believe that deserves celebrating! Which is why I love creating my handmade baby gifts. Each item is sewn with baby and momma in mind as I pray over the gifts. I pray that these little ones would come to know and love God, be loved by Him, grow up in a home that honors the Lord, become good friends, and be surrounded with good Christian friends.

God built my family differently than I expected but His plans are always good and He uses ALL things, even the disappointing, sad things, for the good of those who love and serve Him. He has filled my heart and life with so many babies to sew for and I am eternally thankful for each and every person who has trusted me with their gifts and invested in my small business. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to love, and sew for, God's children.

I honor Jesus by using my gifts to bless others. I especially have a heart for moms with unplanned pregnancies. I have so much respect and admiration for women who have bravely and selflessly chosen to continue with their pregnancies when their future feels uncertain. I support and donate to local and national organizations who assist women in giving their babies the gift of life.

Answer richtext

Yes! Such a great way to really personalize a gift. We can embroider with a monogram or a name(s). We typically add a monogram to bandanas + bibs and a name to our tag blankets. For monograms, last name initial will be in the center with first name initial on the left + middle name initial on the right. For example, Allison Cahill Votava would be AVC. For names, you can have the first or the first + middle added. Some products are not ideal for embroidery. If your order includes an item that is not, we will be in touch to modify your order or refund the cost of embroidery. Embroidered items are not eligible for return. Please note that adding embroidery to your order will add a minimum of 3 - 5 days production.
